When this tissue begins to grow outside the uterus, especially on other organs of the female reproductive system, the condition is called Endometriosis.
The condition affects the fertility factors of a woman by changing the shapes of the fallopian tubes, thus interrupting its function. Apart from this, endometriosis also develops a thick growth over the ovaries, called the endometriomas, thar have an adverse effect on follicular growth and the production of healthy eggs in a female.
